Taking Control of Your Relationship

Are you a women that has been treat like dirt in the past? Do you want to take control of your next relationship and not be taking advantage of ever again? Or maybe you are currently in a relationship that makes you feel like you have no say in what comes and goes? The hard truth is that we are treated the way we let ourselves be treated. We have a choice in how our relationship should be, and as women we should stand up and make a stand for what we believe in.

You have a mouth for a reason

We as women were not designed to just cook and clean as a few men will have you believe. We are not put on this earth to exclusively to please the opposite sex, and being in love does not mean you have to say YES all the time. Many healthy relationships develop problems later in life due to resentment and issues that developed early on. These issues can pop out from no where, and in alot o cases we as individuals are at fault.

Whether it be early on in a relationship or in current relationship be sure to be totally honest with your partner. Have you ever seen those couples that just make you want to puke as they are constantly trying to please each other every single second of the day? Don’t get me wrong, if its genuine then it’s great, but the truth of the matter its isn’t always the case.

A relationship is a 2 way street, for it to move forward you both need to be completely honest with each other whether the other party likes it or not. If everyone does what the other person wants to make the other happy then couldn’t we just have a relationship with anyone? Remember this isn’t a power struggle, in fact far from it. Just because you want to voice a point of view or your personal likes and dislikes doesn’t mean you are controlling, it means you know what you want.

Any man worth his salt will respect this quality and the same goes for men too. By taking action early on in a relationship and working through it on a daily basis you are sure to have a strong and healthy relationship for years to come.
